QDDP Needed at Fuquay-Varina Location

Wake Enterprises is searching for a Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP) with IDD population experience for our Fuquay-Varina location. This position plans and coordinates site-based adult day and vocational services for assigned caseload. Delivers professional supervision for Associate Paraprofessionals and Paraprofessional within the assigned region and assures that service providers are properly trained and credentialed for the services offered.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling and two years of full-time experience working in IDD required. One year of supervisory experience as QDDP preferred. Candidates must have a North Carolina driver's license, proof of driving insurance, and a copy of college transcripts. Drug screen and background checks required.

Job Type: Full-time

Fuquay-Varina Location

Will be required to accomplish repairs such as, patching sheet rock, repairing leaking or running toilets, replacing ballast in light fixtures, lawn maintenance, painting and basic carpentry.

Additional Responsibilities:

Perform routine service on vehicles and lawn maintenance equipment.
Keeps all equipment needed to perform the duties in good working order.
Determine supplies needed for above duties and keeps them on hand.
Perform building cleanup and floor maintenance as scheduled.
Inspect the areas throughout the building regularly.
Maintain the bathrooms and all fixtures in a sanitary manner.
Ensure cleaning of light fixtures throughout the building.
Spot clean the carpets if and or when an accident occurs.
Keep the hallway(s) and work floor clear of obstructions.
Clean the common area windows.
Pick up litter throughout the interior and exterior of the building.
Ensure that supplies are adequately stocked and readily available for use by reporting needs to the Production/Procurement Director.
Replace light bulbs around the site.
Ensure that garbage containers throughout the buildings are emptied.
Walk throughout the building from top to bottom and make notes of any deficiencies.
Update Maintenance request tracking system daily.
Clean all of the mechanical rooms including floors, doors and wipe or vacuum the machines.

Salary: $13.00 / hour

Required experience: facilities maintenance experience or equivalent and a good driving record: 2 years.

Our participants have a variety of needs and schedules so we can offer part time positions between the hours of 9am and 3pm.

Services are provided in WE facilities and communities so candidates must be able to work independently, take initiative and communicate well with participants and families.

$8.75 per hour starting, moves to $9.50 per hour at 6 months
